Professional Background
I’ve been working in the field of mental health and social services since 2012 — long before I officially became a therapist. My path has included everything from supporting older adults and people experiencing homelessness to working in behavioral health clinics, crisis intervention, and juvenile probation. These experiences gave me a deep understanding of how life’s challenges affect people across all ages and backgrounds, and they continue to shape how I show up as a therapist today.
I hold a Master’s in Social Work with a specialization in healthcare from Aurora University. I’m trained in EMDR (Level 1), Safe and Sound Protocol (SSP), DBT, and Motivational Interviewing. I’ve also received training in crisis de-escalation, suicide prevention, and trauma-informed care.
Since 2022, I’ve been working as a psychotherapist at the Center for Therapeutic Services and Psychodiagnostics, where I support teens, adults, and older adults navigating anxiety, trauma, ADHD, family conflict, and stress. I bring practical tools, clinical insight, and compassion into every session — and I always meet you as a person first, not just a diagnosis or a set of symptoms.
